Jürgen Dahm's help for children in Indonesia (english)

<H1>Hello!<BR>- and "Welcome!"</H1> <P><B>There are millions of poor children in this world - and there are tousands of NGOs trying to help some of them ...<BR> What I am trying, is just "a drop in the ocean" - or at least some drops.<BR> But for the individual child whose schooling has been paid, or whose crippled leg or burnt hand has been saved - or at least: improved a bit by some surgery - it's not a "drop": For him or her it might be half of her life ...</B> <P>I started as a "Traveller" with very little money, to feed some kids some times. Later on I was employed as a tour guide for 15 years, and mostly touring Asia. In my free time (between the groups) I started at first to care for street children; later on shifting to children who stayed with their parents, but who could not afford the schooling or any medicines...<BR> At first I spent very little money on this - I did not have much myself. But just by the attendance of a foreigner, the treatment in the nearly-free government hospital improves - gets better than what the "dirty street child" would have gotten, going there by himself...<BR> ... <P><FONT COLOR="red"><B>Your Browser seems not to support frames!<BR>To read more about our support for children in Kathmandu (Nepal) and on the island of Lombok (Indonesia), you have to get a new version of of any browser.
